I have a huge sweet tooth, but one of my all time favorite savory foods are buffalo wings. I swear I could eat them every day! OK, not really, but I do love them. Of course since wings are usually fried, they are not exactly healthy. I had tried on many occasions to bake them, but they never turned out well. Until now that is.

These baked wings are so good that both Mike and I would rather eat them than wings from our favorite wings’ place. They are really that good. Now, nothing can beat the blue cheese dressing from our local wings’ place, but in a pinch try the dipping sauce below too. It is really good and refreshing.

Buffalo Wings:
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 cup {or as much as you prefer} of Hot Wing Sauce
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
- 10 chicken wings
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F
- Wash chicken wings in cold water and pat dry. It is important that the wings are dry.
- Combine the olive oil, garlic, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large, Ziplock bag; seal and shake to combine. Add the chicken wings; reseal and shake to coat. Arrange the chicken wings on a baking sheet skin side up.
- Bake the wings for 45 minutes to an hour or until crispy.
- Remove chicken wings from the baking sheet and place in a large bowl. Add hot wing sauce and toss to coat. I like about 1/4 cup, but how much is up to you.

- 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
